• Each U.S. Armed Forces band may nominate one enlisted musician per calendar year.
• Completed nomination form must be received no later than December 1st, 2013.
• The National Band Association will execute oversight of this award program with the Military/Professional Band Chair serving as coordinator.
• The George S. Howard panel of the John Philip Sousa Foundation will serve as the validation authority for the awards.
• Awardees will be announced January 2014.
